Presenter Equipment and Room Set-up Specifications

  • Handouts – Presenter is responsible for printing and distributing any handouts to Presenter’s attendees unless arrangements are made prior to the conference.
  • Recording – Presenter agrees to be video recorded for overflow distribution, archive, and Internet distribution purposes.
  • Session Types
    • Lecture: Hour-long Traditional – Classroom with a screen, LCD Projector with HDMI Connections, audio speakers, and Internet connection will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment.
    • Panel: Hour-long Moderator and 2-3 panelists – Classroom with a screen, LCD Projector with HDMI Connections, audio speakers, and Internet connection will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment.
    • Highlight Hive: Two-hour Demonstration style, booth location, 1:1 or small group interaction – presentation table, chair and wireless internet access will be provided. You must bring a device from which to present and any adapters, projectors and speakers that may be necessary. Presenters are encouraged to provide signage identifying their names and presentation titles to display on the boards, along with any other display and interactive materials deemed appropriate

Virtual Presentation

If you plan to present remotely as part of the virtual conference portion of the 2024 conference, please consider the following tips:

  • Make sure you have a strong internet connection and a device with quality audio.

  • Test your virtual presentation with a small audience before the conference to see what pacing and transitions will need to look like in a virtual format. 

  • Consider audience engagement. Include opportunities for attendees to actively participate, interact with the presentation content, and collaborate with each other.

All presenters must register to attend the conference. UCET is pleased to announce we will be able to use your proposal information to complete conference registration on behalf on the main presenter.
